Platelet Rich Plasma

The PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) procedure, commonly known as Dracula therapy, is one of the most natural skin rejuvenation treatments, as we use the patient's own blood to enhance the skin's regenerative capacity. PRP technology is successfully used in many other areas of medicine and is one of the safest methods of skin rejuvenation in medical aesthetics. It is a perfect choice for those, who prefer natural solutions, but also want an effective skin rejuvenation.

PRP treatment is excellent for:

In case of PRP treatment we use the cell rejuvenating components of the patients own blood. Think about wound healing. In case of an injury, platelets release substances that trigger cell division, the formation of new epithelial tissue, and increase the production of collagen and elastin and its flow to the injured area. To rejuvenate the skin, we use cell renewal substances found in the body's own blood. The developers of the procedure have taken as their starting point the process of wound healing. In the case of injury, platelets (thrombocytes) release substances that trigger cell division, the formation of new epithelial tissue, and increase the production of collagen and elastin and its flow to the injured area. Platelets contain all the growth factors that are found in human body and also activate other cells to release growth factors, so the skin's regenerative capacity is multiplied in the weeks following treatment. This causes intense regeneration of the treated area, smoothes wrinkles, and the skin generally becomes firmer, smoother, and more hydrated.

Who is it recommended for?

PRP Treatment is recommended regardless of age, not only to correct wrinkles and signs of aging. It is also worth thinking in a preventive approach: The sooner one begins to deal with the health and overall condition of their skin, the longer it will look younger and less wrinkles and aging signs will form on the long run. Overall, it is recommended for those who want to achieve and maintain a youthful appearance.

RESULTS AND HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO YOU NEED?

  • 30-40 éves korban – 1 PRP kezelés – akár 2 évre lelassíthatja az öregedés folyamatát.
  • For 40-50s: 3 PRP treatment series are recommended within one year, followed by maintenance treatment once a year.
  • Above 50: the first 3 PRPs should be done within six months - and the results should be maintained with a semi-annual maintenance treatment.

THE TREATMENT:

As a first step of PRP procedure blood is taken from a patient into a test tube containing a special substance and placed in a centrifuge. The purpose of centrifugation is to separate plasma from red blood cells. This valuable platelet-rich plasma is returned to the treated area by small needle with mesotherapy. As a result, a regeneration process like wound healing takes place in the skin, resulting in a spectacular regeneration of the treated area.

The treatment takes about 60-90 minutes with preparation and with applying numbing cream it does not cause much discomfort.

In the next hours a slight swelling and redness of the treated area may occur. However, generally it is not harshly recognizable so you can continue with your daily routine. In the days the treated area may be more sensitive, but you shouldn’t expect severe pain or any allergic reaction. Always ensure proper UV protection after treatment.
