What is Profhilo and how does it work?

Profhilo is one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid dermal filler available on the market. It is developed to restore the overall elasticity and firmness of the skin. That way it is not only boosting and hydrating the skin, but also remodels the ageing and sagging tissue.

The revolutionary nature of the material is due to its unique structure and extremely high HA concentration, which, once injected in the right points, begins to spread immediately. BAP TECHNIQUE –BIO AESTHETIC POINTS

Profhilo is injected into the face at bio-aesthetic points (BAPs). According to patient feedback, the BAP method gradually improves skin quality over a period of one month and develops its full effect after two months, when stabilized Profhilo hyaluronic acid is finally completely degraded and safely absorbed into various layers of the skin.
Based on the Profhilo treatment protocol, it is generally recommended to perform the treatment twice a year using the previously described and proven BAP technique to achieve maximal results.

THE TREATMENT:

After disinfecting the skin properly a local numbing cream is applied.

Using the BAP method, Profhilo is injected at five-five points per side, evenly distributed using a thin needle.

The material will spread around by itself, there is no need to massage.

The treatment takes about 45 minutes with preparation and with applying numbing cream it does not cause much discomfort. It can be done even at a lunch time. Redness and irritation at the injection points are less common than in case of other injection treatments.

In the following days there might be some swelling and bruising at the treated area. Temporary asymmetry also can occur and some minimal pain as well. Avoid in the following days:
Extreme heat effects (sauna, solarium, sunbathing).
Activities which cause sweating, such as exercising.
Leaning and lifting heavy objects.
The use of different cosmetics, make-up and cosmetic treatments should be also avoided. It is very important as well to sleep on your back for a few days, the material needs some time to settle.
